Ventana's 54 rooms and suites are arranged around our 160-acre property in secluded groupings, offering the utmost in privacy and serenity. Constructed of sun-bleached cedar, the buildings blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings, with interiors featuring rich leathers and woods that provide a soothing, sophisticated retreat.
You'll find plush king beds and luxurious bathrooms in every room, along with private balconies or patios that allow you to open your doors and marvel at the beautiful setting, the Pacific breeze and an array of wildlife and birds. At Ventana, you can relax and recharge the way you want to – soak in an extra-large tub, settle into your own private hot tub on the deck or reflect in front of a crackling fireplace perfect for cool nights.
As an adults–only resort, all Ventana guests must be 18 or older. ADA accommodations available upon request.

Rooms and Suites Policies
PETS: Many of our guests consider their pets to be family members, and we welcome dogs at Ventana Big Sur. There is a fee of $150 per dog (maximum of two dogs), which includes a dog bed and water bowl in your room.
SMOKING: Smoking, including e-cigarette usage, is strictly prohibited in Ventana guestrooms, common areas, walking paths and on hikes. Ashtrays are provided on guestroom balconies for your convenience – due to extreme fire danger, cigarettes, matches and other flammable material should be properly extinguished in the provided ashtray.
