We are located on the iconic Pacific Coast highway in Big Sur. Our address is 48123 Highway One, Big

Your stay includes meals, non-alcoholic beverages, a selection of curated resort activities, wellness
programming, access to amenities such as pools, Japanese baths, and the fitness center, plus valet
parking, daily snacks, minibar and excursion gear.
Ventana is a resort tailored to adults, and is best suited for couples. To preserve the guest experience
there each room can accommodate a maximum two individuals, this includes infants and children.
Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. We do our best to accommodate early
arrivals, however we cannot guarantee an early check-in

Once you’re ready to move forward, our Sales Team will prepare a personalized Hyatt sales agreement outlining the key elements of your celebration. This includes food and beverage minimums, room rates, and location fees. All service fees are also included in our agreements, while taxes are excluded. Signing the agreement and submitting the initial deposit will officially reserve your date.
Your wedding date is confirmed with an initial 40% deposit, followed by a series of scheduled payments leading up to your event. All deposit schedules include a 20% contingency. Your dedicated Sales Manager will walk you through the full payment timeline tailored to your program.

All tours must be scheduled two weeks in advance and are based on availability. We do not allow walk in tours to ensure privacy and enjoyment for our current onsite guests of the resort. Last minute tours may be accommodated depending on availability. To ensure a meaningful and personalized site tour experience, we ask that all tours be scheduled with your Sales Manager.
All ages are warmly welcomed to participate in wedding ceremonies and celebrations. Please note that Alila Ventana Big Sur is designed as a serene, adults-oriented retreat set on 160 secluded acres. To preserve this atmosphere, guest room occupancy is limited to a maximum of two guests per room and this includes children/babies.
We are pleased to offer preferred group rates for contracted wedding room blocks, based on availability and seasonality.
Resort amenities: including pools, Japanese hot baths, fitness center, and daily wellness classes are all located on the gated side of the property and are exclusively reserved for overnight guests staying at Ventana. Off-site guests attending your event may join scheduled wedding activities, private meals, and ceremony/reception events. Should they wish to enjoy the full resort experience, a Non-Resort Guest Access Pass may be purchased for $300 per person, per day (limited availability). This pass includes access to the Meadow Pool, Infinity Hot Tub, Mountain Pool, Japanese Hot Baths, Fitness Center, and complimentary activities.

Big Sur has very strict Noise Ordinances governed by the city and State. Out of respect for the natural environment and our Big Sur community, all outdoor amplified sound must conclude by 9:00 PM, while indoor events may continue until midnight. Our team will help you plan your timeline to ensure a seamless celebration within these guidelines.
Alila Ventana Big Sur offers 54 guest rooms and suites, each available at a preferred inclusive group rate with a two-night minimum stay. Our Average discounted Group Rate is $2,800+ per room, per night (plus tax). Pricing may vary based on dates, occupancy, and seasonal demand.
