Our complimentary Ventana Signature Activities, included with all stays, are designed to empower you on whichever path you choose.
These semi-private experiences offer ample distancing for safety—and ample enjoyment, too. Please reserve activities prior to your stay by contacting your Leisure Concierge. All offerings and schedules are subject to change. Participation numbers are limited.
Each morning, we offer a complimentary yoga, tai chi, or meditation class to help you greet the new day and awaken fully in mind, body, and spirit. All classes, whether private or small group, will have additional spacing. Yoga mats are also available for in-suite practice.
- Yoga: This class is designed with gentle floor-based sequences that allow you to fully relax your muscles, slow down mental activity, shift emotional patterns, bring ease to your breath, and tune into your nervous system’s healing capacity.
- Meditation: There’s no better place than where the land meets the sea for quieting the mind and finding balance. Join our instructor overlooking the Pacific for a time of reflection and mindfulness.
- Tai Chi: Strengthen your spirit and reduce stress with this ancient Chinese practice, led by an expert instructor each morning in a scenic spot above the sea.

- Water Aerobics (Ocean Meadow Pool) Join us at the Ocean Meadow Pool for high-energy, low-impact resistance training in waist-deep (or slightly deeper) water—no swimming required.
- Barre Strength (Meadow Lawn) This class integrates interval training, isometrics (which helps tone your muscles), and the science of physical therapy to provide you with a workout that reshapes your body. A high rep count ensures a proper workout that is sure to provide the signature “Barre muscle burn.” Class limit is 8.
- Full Body Stretch (Meadow Lawn) A class for all levels designed to ease tight muscles and improve flexibility with an emphasis on posture and balance.
Enjoy s’mores two ways nightly at Social House: a gourmet packaged version from our executive pastry chef, or a nostalgic version ready to roast on an open fire.
Guided Discovery Walk
This guided low-intensity hike, perfect for all skill and fitness levels, is a 1.3-mile loop that winds through the Ventana property. You’ll see redwoods and other local flora, and maybe even Big Sur wildlife such as condors, eagles, and red-tailed hawks! The hike leaves from the lobby each morning at 10 a.m.
