Our complimentary Ventana Signature Activities, included with all stays, are designed to empower you on whichever path you choose.
These semi-private experiences offer ample distancing for safety—and ample enjoyment, too. Please reserve activities prior to your stay by contacting your Leisure Concierge. All offerings and schedules are subject to change. Participation numbers are limited.
Yoga
Each morning, we offer a complimentary yoga class to help you greet the new day and awaken fully in mind, body, and spirit. All yoga classes, whether private or small group, will have additional spacing. Yoga mats are also available for in-suite practice.

CARDIO HIIT - Meadow Lawn
This 50-minute, all outdoor, HIIT class is a cardio based session arranged as short bursts of intense work. During high-intensity training, kick up the intensity of your cardio, push yourself to the max during every set. HIIT cycles are short—anywhere from 20 to 90 seconds- followed by a rest period. Take your cardiovascular workout to the next level. All levels welcome. Class limit is 8.
BARRE STRENGTH - Meadow Lawn
Ventana's Barre class integrates interval training, isometrics - which helps tone your muscles, and the science of physical therapy to provide you with a workout that reshapes your body. in this strengthening class, a high rep count ensures a proper workout that is sure to have the signature and desired 'Barre Muscle Burn". Class limit is 8.
AQUA FIT - Meadow Pool
This low-impact, joint friendly resistance workout takes place in water and is designed to strengthen your muscles, increase your cardio endurance along with flexibility, balance, and agility. All levels welcome. Class limit is 12.
CORE FIT - Meadow Lawn
This class is designed to benefit all levels and focuses on the foundations of core training to build better posture, improve flexibility, and stretch the entire body. Class limit is 8.
Meditation
There’s no better place than the forest for quieting the mind and finding balance. Join our instructor under a protective canopy of redwoods for a time of reflection and mindfulness.
Tai Chi
Strengthen your spirit and reduce stress with this ancient Chinese practice, led by an expert instructor each morning in a scenic spot overlooking the Pacific.
S'mores
Enjoy s’mores nightly at The Social House.
Property Hike
This guided low-intensity hike, perfect for all skill and fitness levels, is a 1.3-mile loop that winds through the Ventana property. You’ll see redwoods and other local flora, and maybe even Big Sur wildlife such as condors, eagles, and red-tailed hawks! The hike leaves from the lobby each morning at 10.
Sunset Hour
You’re invited to join us on The Sur House patio from 3-5 p.m. daily for Sunset Hour, featuring cocktails and gorgeous views of the setting sun before dinner. In addition to specialty cocktails and wines from Le P’tit Paysan, our full beverage menu will be available as well. No reservations needed—just drop by
