Alila Ventana Big Sur is everything I hoped for, and more. I really enjoyed how relaxed I was and how calm and quiet the atmosphere was. The staff were great and friendly and everything was eager to help and please. Time slowed down there and it was quite the retreat from a busy life. I felt genuinely rested and at peace with the short time I was there. I wish I could’ve spent longer but I want to make this an annual trip. The location was amazing from proximity to Los Angeles and San Francisco so most guests can roadtrip from one of those cities...

One of the most relaxing stays that I’ve ever experienced. The check-in / check-out was so easy and fast, the customer service was impeccable (everyone was responsive, friendly, efficient, and effective), and the amenities were great. I loved all the pools and water features. The rooms were wonderfully clean and comfortable. Yet it’s also dog-friendly! (All the guests were responsible and considerate as well.) And the spa was just what I needed...

What an incredible week, we are already planning our return. The food was exceptional, the views are incredible of the ocean, and the redwoods. The rooms are spacious, and the 24 hour access to the sauna and heated pools was fantastic. We loved the resort included and paid experiences, Like beekeeping and hiking.
